PLAIN LANGUAGE SUMMARY

We use a small number of cookies to keep the Website running, understand how it is used, and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can manage or turn off non-essential cookies using the Cookie Settings panel on this Website or through your browser. This policy explains exactly which cookies we set, what each one does, and how long it stays on your device.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer, phone, or tablet by a website you visit. They are returned to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises them. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user's device, remember preferences, and collect analytical information.

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • Cookies: small text files stored on your device by your browser at the request of a website
  • Web beacons / tracking pixels: tiny, invisible images embedded in web pages or emails that record when they have been viewed
  • Local storage: data stored in your browser's local storage area, used for similar purposes to cookies but not transmitted automatically to the server
  • Session storage: temporary data held in your browser for the duration of a browsing session, automatically deleted when the tab or browser is closed
  • Device fingerprinting: we do not use device fingerprinting on this Website

First-party vs third-party cookies

A first-party cookie is set by the website you are visiting (dashmindsiq.com). A third-party cookie is set by a domain other than the website you are visiting — typically analytics services, social media plugins, or advertising networks. We describe which category each cookie falls into in the full inventory in Section 3.

Session cookies vs persistent cookies

Session cookies exist only for the duration of your browser session and are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period, or until you delete them. The duration of each cookie we use is specified in the inventory table in Section 3.

2. Who We Are

DashMindsIQ Private Limited is a technology and professional services company incorporated in India in 2025, headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We operate the website at www.dashmindsiq.com (the "Website").

For the purposes of this Cookie Policy, DashMindsIQ Private Limited is responsible for the cookies set on the Website. Our Privacy Policy, available at www.dashmindsiq.com/privacy-policy, sets out how we handle personal data collected via the Website, including data collected through cookies.

Data protection contact: privacy@dashmindsiq.com

Registered office: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

3. Cookies We Use — Full Inventory

The tables below list every cookie currently set by dashmindsiq.com. We update this inventory whenever cookies are added, changed, or removed. The "Last updated" date on this policy indicates when the inventory was last reviewed.

HOW TO READ THIS TABLE

"Duration" is the maximum time the cookie remains on your device after it is set. "Opt-out?" indicates whether you can disable this cookie without breaking core Website functionality. No = the Website requires this cookie to function. Yes = you can opt out via the Cookie Settings panel or browser settings. Partial = some features may be affected if you opt out.

NOTE ON MICROSOFT CLARITY

We may use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymised session replays and heatmaps to understand how visitors interact with the Website. This data does not include identifiable personal information. Session recordings are accessible only to authorised DashMindsIQ team members and are used solely to improve Website usability. You can opt out of Clarity recording via the Cookie Settings panel.

Category 4: Targeting & Advertising Cookies

DashMindsIQ does not currently use targeting or advertising cookies. We do not use cookies to build profiles of your interests, serve you retargeted advertising, or share your browsing behaviour with advertising networks.

If this changes in the future — for example, if we activate LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads remarketing, or Meta Pixel — this section and the cookie inventory will be updated at least 14 days before those cookies are activated. You will be notified via the cookie consent banner to provide fresh consent for the new category.

Cookie nameProviderPurposeDurationOpt-out?

4. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are essential for the Website to function correctly. They cannot be switched off in our systems and do not require your consent under applicable law — they are set automatically when you visit the Website or take specific actions such as submitting a form or logging into a portal.

These cookies do not collect any information that could be used to track you across other websites, and they store no personally identifiable information beyond what is technically necessary to maintain the session or security function they serve.

What strictly necessary cookies do on this Website:

  • Consent storage: remember that you have set your cookie preferences so we do not re-present the consent banner on every page
  • Session maintenance: keep your session active as you navigate between pages, so form data and portal state are retained
  • Security: provide CSRF (cross-site request forgery) protection to ensure that form submissions on the Website originate from genuine users rather than malicious third-party scripts
  • Authenticated portal access: maintain secure login state for any authenticated areas such as the client portal

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, there is no option to opt out of them through our Cookie Settings panel. If you block them through your browser, the Website may not function correctly.

5. Performance & Analytics Cookies

Performance and analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Website — which pages are most visited, how long visitors spend on each page, what links they click, and whether they encounter any errors. This information is used in aggregate to improve the Website's content, structure, and performance. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised data about Website usage. GA4 sets a number of cookies (detailed in the inventory in Section 3) that distinguish between unique users and sessions, and track page views and user interactions across the Website.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC on servers that may be located outside India. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled, meaning the last portion of your IP address is masked before the data is stored. We do not enable Google Signals or any cross-device tracking features.

  • Data controller for GA data: Google LLC — see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy
  • Data transfers: Google Analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google has Standard Contractual Clauses in place for such transfers
  • Opt-out option: you can opt out of Google Analytics via the Cookie Settings panel, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Microsoft Clarity

We may use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioural analytics tool that records anonymised session replays and generates heatmaps showing aggregated patterns of how visitors interact with the Website. Clarity does not capture keystrokes, passwords, or payment details. Session replays are anonymised and are used solely by our team to identify usability issues.

Microsoft Clarity data is processed by Microsoft Corporation. You can opt out via the Cookie Settings panel or via Microsoft's privacy controls.

6. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies enable the Website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They remember choices you have made — such as your language or region — so you do not have to set them again on future visits. They may also be used to remember the settings of embedded tools.

If you opt out of functional cookies, some features of the Website may not work as expected. For example, your language preference may not be retained between visits. Functional cookies are disabled by default and are only set if you accept them via the Cookie Settings panel.

Currently active functional cookies:

  • Language preference: stores your selected language so it persists across pages and visits
  • Region preference: stores your selected region (India / UAE / other) to surface contextually relevant content
  • Form variant testing: if HubSpot contact forms are active, a session cookie may record which form variant you saw — this contains no personal data and is cleared when you close your browser

7. Targeting & Advertising Cookies

Targeting and advertising cookies are used to track visitors across websites to enable advertisers to show relevant advertisements, and to limit how many times you see an advertisement. They are typically set by advertising networks with website owners' permission.

DashMindsIQ does not currently use any targeting or advertising cookies. No advertising network cookies — including but not limited to Google Ads remarketing tags, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel (Facebook), or TikTok Pixel — are active on dashmindsiq.com.

If we activate any advertising cookies in the future, we will: (a) update this Cookie Policy and the inventory table in Section 3 at least 14 days before activation; (b) display an updated cookie consent banner requiring fresh consent for the new cookie category; and (c) not activate advertising cookies for visitors who have not provided consent.

8. Third-Party Cookies & Scripts

Some cookies on the Website are set by third-party services that we use to operate or improve the site. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties — they are governed by each third party's own cookie and privacy policies. The third-party services currently active on dashmindsiq.com are:

Google Analytics — analytics.google.com

Google Analytics 4 is used for Website usage analytics. Google may set several cookies in the _ga family. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or our Cookie Settings panel.

Microsoft Clarity — clarity.microsoft.com

Microsoft Clarity is used for session replay and heatmap analytics. Privacy policy: privacy.microsoft.com. Opt-out: our Cookie Settings panel.

HubSpot — hubspot.com (if active)

HubSpot may be used to power contact forms and track form engagement. If active, HubSpot may set session and tracking cookies. Privacy policy: legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy. Opt-out: our Cookie Settings panel.

We do not embed social media widgets (LinkedIn Like buttons, Twitter/X share buttons, YouTube embeds) that would cause third-party social media cookies to be set without your explicit consent. If we add any such embeds in the future, they will require opt-in consent and will be documented in the inventory table.

9. Cookie Consent & Your Choices

9.1  Our consent mechanism

On your first visit to dashmindsiq.com, a cookie consent banner will appear. The banner presents three options:

  • Accept all cookies: strictly necessary, analytics, and functional cookies are all set
  • Accept essential only: only strictly necessary cookies are set; analytics and functional cookies are not activated
  • Customise preferences: a preference panel allows you to toggle each non-essential cookie category on or off individually

Your preference is stored in the cookieconsent_status cookie (a strictly necessary cookie) for up to 12 months. After 12 months, you will be asked to confirm your preferences again. We do not set any non-essential cookies before you have made a choice.

9.2  Changing your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page on the Website. This opens the preference panel where you can adjust your selections. Changes take effect immediately — cookies you have deactivated will be deleted from your device within your next browsing session.

9.3  Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw consent for any non-essential cookie category at any time by opening the Cookie Settings panel and toggling off the relevant category. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew consent. Withdrawing consent for analytics cookies means we will no longer collect data about your visits after the change takes effect.

9.4  What happens if you decline all non-essential cookies

If you choose to accept essential cookies only, the Website will still be fully accessible and functional. You will be able to submit enquiries, apply for jobs, and access all public content. The only differences are: (a) we will not collect analytics data about your visit; (b) your language and region preferences will not be remembered between visits; and (c) A/B test variants on forms will not be recorded.

10. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to our Cookie Settings panel, all major web browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their built-in settings. The table below provides the direct navigation path to cookie settings for the most common browsers. Settings and menu names may differ slightly between browser versions.

BrowserCookie settings path
Google ChromeSettings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. Use 'See all cookies and site data' to view and delete individual cookies.
Mozilla FirefoxSettings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Use 'Manage Data' to view and delete cookies by site.
Apple Safari (Mac)Safari → Settings / Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Select cookies by site and remove individually or all at once.
Apple Safari (iOS)Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data. Swipe left on individual entries to delete, or use 'Remove All Website Data'.
Microsoft EdgeSettings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data. Use 'See all cookies and site data' for per-site management.
OperaSettings → Advanced → Privacy & Security → Cookies and other site data.
BraveSettings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data. Brave also has built-in cookie and tracker blocking under Shields settings.
Samsung InternetSettings (three dots) → Privacy → Cookies. Toggle 'Block third-party cookies' for additional control.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON BROWSER-LEVEL COOKIE DELETION

Deleting cookies through your browser removes them from your device but does not notify DashMindsIQ or update your consent record with us. The next time you visit the Website, the consent banner will reappear. To update your consent record, use the Cookie Settings panel on the Website rather than deleting cookies directly through the browser.

Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity is not tracked. At this time, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. DashMindsIQ does not currently alter its cookie practices in response to DNT signals, but we continue to monitor the development of DNT standards.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Global Privacy Control is an emerging browser-based standard that allows users to signal opt-out preferences to websites. DashMindsIQ will implement GPC compliance as and when it becomes a legal requirement in jurisdictions where we operate. UK and EU visitors who wish to opt out of non-essential cookies should use our Cookie Settings panel in the meantime.

11. Legal Bases for Cookie Processing

India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Under the DPDP Act 2023, we process personal data collected via cookies on the following basis: (a) your consent, which you provide via the cookie consent banner for non-essential cookies; and (b) the legitimate purposes of maintaining website security and ensuring the basic functionality of the Website, for strictly necessary cookies. You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time via the Cookie Settings panel.

United Kingdom — UK GDPR and PECR

For visitors from the United Kingdom, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) govern the use of cookies alongside UK GDPR. PECR requires informed consent before any cookies that are not strictly necessary are set. Our cookie consent banner is designed to meet the PECR standard: consent is specific, informed, freely given, and as easy to withdraw as it is to give. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PECR Regulation 6(4).

European Union — EU GDPR and ePrivacy Directive

For visitors from the European Economic Area, the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented by member states) requires prior informed consent for all cookies that are not strictly necessary. Our consent mechanism meets the ePrivacy standard. Under EU GDPR, the lawful basis for processing data collected via analytics and functional cookies is consent (Article 6(1)(a)). The lawful basis for strictly necessary cookies is legitimate interests in maintaining the security and functionality of the Website (Article 6(1)(f)).

12. International Considerations

DashMindsIQ is incorporated in India and serves clients in India, the UAE, and internationally. Our cookie practices are designed to be consistent with the requirements of all jurisdictions from which we receive significant traffic. The applicable standard depends on where you are located:

  • India: DPDP Act 2023 — consent-based framework for personal data processing. Our cookie consent banner satisfies this requirement.
  • United Kingdom: UK GDPR and Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Our consent mechanism meets the 'informed, specific, freely given, and withdrawable' standard required by PECR and the ICO's guidance.
  • European Union / EEA: EU GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Our consent banner meets the CJEU standard established in Planet49 (C-673/17) — pre-ticked boxes are not used, consent is granular by category, and withdrawal is as easy as acceptance.
  • UAE / GCC: No specific cookie legislation at the federal level in the UAE. Our consent mechanism exceeds the regional baseline. If applicable UAE free zone regulations (e.g. DIFC Data Protection Law, ADGM Data Protection Regulations) apply to a specific client relationship, additional provisions may apply.

If the law of your jurisdiction is not listed above and you have questions about how our cookie practices apply to you, please contact privacy@dashmindsiq.com.

13. Data Collected via Cookies

The cookies we set collect a limited amount of information. The following types of data may be captured through our cookies:

  • Anonymised IP address: your IP address is partially masked by Google Analytics before storage; the full IP address is not retained
  • Page URLs visited: the specific pages you visit on dashmindsiq.com
  • Time and date of visits: when you visited and for how long
  • Browser and device type: the type of browser and device you are using, used to identify and fix technical issues
  • Referring URL: the website or search engine you came from before visiting dashmindsiq.com
  • Approximate geographic location: derived from the anonymised IP address, typically resolved only to country or city level
  • Cookie consent preference: your choice regarding non-essential cookies, stored as a consent record
  • Session replay data (Clarity): anonymised recordings of mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling patterns — no keystroke data, no form field content, no personal identifiers

Cookie-based analytics data is not linked to personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide contact details in a form. We do not combine cookie identifiers with your name, email address, or other directly identifiable data.

For full details on how personal data collected via cookies is handled, retained, and protected, please see our Privacy Policy at www.dashmindsiq.com/privacy-policy.

14. Children

The DashMindsIQ website is directed at adults and business users. We do not knowingly set cookies on devices used by children under the age of 18, and the Website is not intended to collect data from individuals under 18.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has visited dashmindsiq.com and had cookies set on their device, you may request deletion of that data by contacting privacy@dashmindsiq.com. Please include as much information as possible about the device and approximate time of the visit.

15. Changes to This Policy

15.1  We review and update this Cookie Policy at least annually, and whenever we make material changes to the cookies we use. The "Effective date" and version number at the top of this document indicate when the policy was last revised.

15.2  Material changes include: activating a new cookie category (particularly analytics or targeting); adding new third-party cookie providers; changes to the legal basis for any processing; or changes required by applicable law. For material changes, we will: (a) update this policy and the effective date; (b) display an updated cookie consent banner requesting fresh consent where the change affects consent-based cookies; and (c) provide at least 14 days' notice via a website notice before the change takes effect.

15.3  Non-material changes — such as correcting typographical errors, updating third-party privacy policy links, or clarifying existing descriptions — take effect immediately on posting and do not trigger a fresh consent request.

15.4  We recommend bookmarking this page and reviewing it periodically, particularly if you have opted out of analytics cookies and want to understand any new cookies we may have added.

16. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Cookie Policy, want to understand more about specific cookies we use, or have a complaint about how we handle cookie consent, please contact us:
