DashMindsIQ builds and operates cloud infrastructure for client applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure. We are looking for a Cloud & DevOps Engineer who can design robust, cost-efficient cloud architectures, implement them in Terraform, and build the CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks that make deployment reliable and operations manageable.
This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and software delivery, you will be working closely with application developers to design infrastructure that fits the application, not forcing applications to fit a standard template.
Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary), GCP, or Azure, VPCs, compute (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), managed databases, storage, and networking, defined entirely in Terraform
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, from PR validation and automated testing through staging and production deployment with appropriate gates and rollback capability
Design and implement container architectures using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) with Helm charts, ArgoCD for GitOps deployment, and HPA for autoscaling
Implement observability stacks, Prometheus and Grafana for metrics, OpenTelemetry for distributed tracing, and centralised logging, with alerting that surfaces real problems without alert fatigue
Implement security controls: IAM with least-privilege policies, secrets management with HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native secret stores, SAST/DAST in CI, and container scanning
Conduct cost reviews and implement FinOps practices: resource tagging, rightsizing recommendations, Reserved Instance analysis, and Kubecost for Kubernetes cost visibility
Document infrastructure decisions, runbooks for common operational tasks, and incident response procedures
Participate in an on-call rotation and run blameless post-incident reviews, turning outages into concrete reliability improvements rather than repeated firefighting
2–4 years of cloud infrastructure or DevOps experience with hands-on Terraform usage in production environments, not just modifying existing configurations
Solid understanding of at least one major cloud provider's core services: networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers), compute options, managed databases, and IAM
Experience building CI/CD pipelines that are actually used in anger, with real test stages, deployment gates, and rollback procedures
Kubernetes experience beyond 'kubectl get pods': you understand pod scheduling, resource requests and limits, PodDisruptionBudgets, and the operational difference between Deployments and StatefulSets
Security-conscious: you think about the blast radius of IAM policies, you scan container images before pushing, and you manage secrets properly without needing to be reminded
Ability to write clear, modular Terraform that other engineers can understand and extend
