We are looking for a mobile developer who is equally at home with Flutter and React Native, and has the engineering discipline to build applications that are not just functional but fast, maintainable, and reliable in the hands of real users. You will work on client projects, consumer apps, enterprise mobile tools, and cross-platform products, with ownership of the mobile layer from architecture through to App Store and Play Store delivery.

Design and implement cross-platform mobile applications in Flutter (primary) and React Native, with full responsibility for the mobile layer of each project

Make architecture decisions for the mobile application: state management approach, navigation pattern, offline-first design, local storage strategy, and API integration layer

Integrate with backend APIs and third-party SDKs, payment gateways, analytics, push notifications, authentication providers, maps, and device hardware (camera, biometrics, GPS)

Write and maintain automated tests, unit tests for business logic, widget tests for Flutter UI, and integration tests for critical flows

Manage App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android) submissions, including handling review feedback, managing release tracks, and monitoring crash reports post-launch

Work directly with designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, performant UI with appropriate animations and transitions

Participate in code review, both giving and receiving feedback with specificity and without ego

Monitor crash-free rates, performance, and store ratings after each release, and prioritise fixes based on real device data rather than assumptions

2–4 years of mobile development experience with strong hands-on Flutter or React Native work, a portfolio of shipped apps is more valuable than a list of frameworks

Solid understanding of state management in Flutter (Riverpod or BLoC) or React Native (Redux, Zustand, or React Query)

Experience integrating REST APIs and handling offline state, error states, and loading states properly, not just the happy path

Understanding of iOS and Android platform differences: how each OS handles permissions, background tasks, push notifications, and app lifecycle events

Experience with App Store and Play Store submission processes, including what makes apps get rejected and how to avoid it

Clean code practices: you write code that the next engineer can understand and extend without a guided tour

  • Native Swift or Kotlin experience for components that require native modules
  • Experience with on-device ML using TensorFlow Lite, Core ML, or ML Kit
  • Experience building apps for enterprise clients with SSO, MDM compatibility, or offline-first architecture requirements
